Over 30 million Americans have Eczema. Yikes! That number is huge, and seems to be ever growing. If you have eczema, you may experience dry, red, itchy, and sometimes scaly patches of skin. It is not fun to deal with, and you can not cover it up easily. It can be very noticeable, if even just to yourself. Uncomfortable as it may be, there are ways of dealing with eczema. Sometimes, a change in diet is needed. You can speak to a nutritionist or doctor about this, and determine if you have any food allergies which are contributing. More often than not, the cause of your eczema is impossible to determine. There is a DIY eczema cream you can make for yourself with ingredients which help to manage eczema. It is easy to make, and you will notice a difference within the first couple days of use.

What you need

How to make it

  1. Using a double boiler, melt your beeswax into a liquid first.
  2. Once beeswax is a liquid, add in your shea butter, coconut oil, and almond oil.
  3. Stir your ingredients occasionally until fully liquid.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit in room temperature for 30 minutes.
  5. Add in your colloidal silver and vegetable glycerine. Make sure to stir all ingredients together well until fully combined.
  6. Put your mixture into the fridge overnight.
  7. Remove your mixture, and let it sit in room temperature for 2-3 hours.
  8. Using a hand mixer or Kitchen Aid, mix for about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Take a spatula or spoon and transfer your DIY eczema cream into the container of your choice. Mason jars work great!
  10. Use a small amount of cream daily for eczema flare-ups, or just on dry patches of skin. A little goes a long way.

Colloidal Silver kills bacteria and yeasts which can occur during eczema flare-ups and skin infections. Shea Butter, Almond Oil, Beeswax, and Coconut oil combine to moisturize skin as well as protect it. Vegetable glycerine is extremely moisturizing, and provides an added barrier to protect skin from outside elements. It will also help your liquid ingredients to mix with more solid ingredients. Eczema flare-ups do not have to ruin your day. Use this DIY eczema cream for some relief!
