Halloween Bath Bombs

It’s that magical time of year again, and almost Halloween! The holiday’s are approaching, and it all starts on October 31st. Right now, it’s a fun time of year when our children and grand children trick-or-treat, dress up, and have fun. Whether or not you have plans this Halloween, you can make this simple DIY Halloween Bath Bombs recipe at home. You can have a spooky relaxing time with these bath bombs, and they will make your skin silky smooth! To add an even spookier effect, use green or purple coloring to add some fun to your bath water. Make sure you use a soap or bath bomb colorant – that way, no stains in your tub! Bath bombs are fun, but let’s keep the mess to a minimum and the clean up simple.

Bath bombs have wonderful oils that are moisturizing for skin, but they do leave a small amount of oil in the tub. This is true for all bath bombs, so make sure to have a dry wash cloth handy to simply wipe the tub down afterwards.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Citric Acid
  • 1/3 cup Epsom Salts
  • 1 teaspoon Witch Hazel
  • 25 drops Essential Oils (Lavender works great to relax both the muscles and the mind!)
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet Almond Oil
  • Bath bomb mold or silicone mold
  • 2 tablespoons Green soap coloring or bath bomb colorant
  • 2 Bowls
  • A whisk
  • Tupperware with lid to store

Instructions

  1. In your first bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well using your whisk.
  2. Use your second bowl to combine all wet ingredients and mix again using your whisk.
  3. Add in your wet ingredients to your dry ingredient bowl, little by little. Whisk well and fully combine between adding more of your wet mixture.
  4. Put your bath bomb mixture into your molds. Silicone molds work wonderfully!
  5. Pack the molds tightly.
  6. Let dry for several hours, or, place in the fridge for one hour.
  7. Carefully remove your Halloween bath bombs
  8. Store in a sealed Tupperware container.

Enjoy your new bath bombs, and have a Happy Halloween!
