Tips To Survive The Cold and Flu Season and Stay Healthy


In most of the country we’re not far away from the cold and flu season arriving. According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), adults can expect to catch 2 to 3 colds each year. I don’t know about you but we don’t have time to be sick. 😉

While perusing the news online the other day I ran across this great Survival Guide.  Supposedly, we can skip the flu vaccine (music to my ears), and strive to live the healthiest cold and flu season yet, if we just follow these tips from the experts.

Cold and Flu Season

Apart from keeping your hands washed really well (a given anytime of the year in my book), according to the experts there are so many things we can do to keep ourselves healthy during the winter months.  From eating yogurt…keeping our hands away from our lips…flushing out our noses with a neti pot to inhaling essential oils like Eucalyptus to clear our airways for better breathing.
