Where You've Seen Us...
Welcome to Southern Zoomer! We’re so glad you’re here.
The site is dedicated to Baby Boomers, aka Zoomers, who want to remain socially active, happy, healthy and connected to the world. Yet, they have a strong need to simplify things in their life.
Those Boomer Zoomers, me included, who don’t want to live out the rest of their lives seeking traditional medicine to cure their everyday ailments.
Those Baby Boomers who aren’t interested in relaxing.
Those Baby Boomers who intend to work, make some contribution to society, travel or just enjoy their retirement years playing golf, tennis or whatever strikes your fancy.
We’re a Unique Generation!
It might surprise you to know:
- When we were younger we created the youth movement of the 1960’s
- Growing into our twenty’s (around the 1970’s), we were credited with creating a culture of excess. Imagine that!
- In the 1980’s many of us were referred to as “Yuppies”, taking the corporate world by storm.
Gosh, it seems like yesterday I was listening to the Rolling Stones and The Who on my 8-track.
It’s the 21st century and yet again we’re redefining aging…living a lot longer, yearning to be even better, happier and healthier.
Right? Me too! That’s why I created this business and this site.
If you’re anything like me I’ve spent my life being healthy, eating healthy and exercising (I’m a walker, a hiker, love to ride my bike, play golf and walk the beach). I don’t want to grow old. Just because I’m growing older I’m not going to let go of my desire to stay fit and live a healthy lifestyle, albeit in a much simpler way.
As I have aged and become wiser, which I’m forever grateful, I’ve watched my own mother and father, mother-in-law, aunts and uncles and other elders consume more pills than I can imagine. Some are taking so many a day they don’t even know what they are suppose to cure anymore. In addition, they have spent more time in doctor’s offices and hospitals yearning to be cured; yet only have mounting healthcare bills to show for it.
The Journey Began
When I turned 50 I began to notice several changes in my body. Dryer skin, more gray in my hair, a few more wrinkles, aching bones in the morning and pre-menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and the like. Rather than rush to the doctor for every ache or pain, and more importantly spend entire days sitting and waiting on a doctor to recommend a cure I could have purchased over the counter, I began to explore alternative remedies to address my concerns.
I’m not a doctor and your results may vary
What I have found is essential oils like Tea Tree Oil, Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lavender Oil, and Cold Pressed Oils like Coconut and Sweet Almond Oils, natural products and Herbs, as well as some Health Supplements utilized properly and taken as directed, have had a tremendous effect on my family and me. In fact, we have been able to save both money and time treating ourselves with simple remedies that many doctors actually recommend.
I encourage you to explore our site and look at the products we offer as well as those we recommend. Products my family, friends, I and our customers use everyday.
It is my hope that I can help enough Baby Boomers, aka Zoomers, get what they want and keep it, that is…Better, Happier and Healthier Lives!
Wishing You The Best,
CEO Southern Zoomer
