Using a double boiler, heat up the Coconut Oil and Shea Butter on low heat until fully melted. This should take about 10 minutes. Mix well, and let the mixture sit in room temperature for about five minutes before adding your essential oils. Add in your essential oils and mix well again. Pour your mixture into your silicone molds. You can use an ice cube tray if you don’t have any molds available! Place the mixture in the molds into the fridge. Let cool for about an hour. Take it out of the fridge, and gently pop out your new DIY Coconut Oil Bath Melts! Make sure to store them in a sealed glass container, away from heat and moisture. If you live in a warm climate, make sure to store these in the fridge.

When you are ready to use your coconut oil bath melts, just pop one into your warm bath water and enjoy! Be ready for a soothing experience that will melt your stress away, and intensely moisturize skin. You can simply let it melt by itself, or you can rub it directly onto problem areas on skin while you’re in the bath.
