DIY Bath Bombs

Bath bombs are becoming more and more popular as time goes on. It’s easy to see why! Bath bombs are not only fun, but they can provide skin care benefits with their simple ingredients. While many stores are selling bath bombs for $5 each or even more, making your own DIY Bath Bombs is a great option!

Ingredients & Materials

  • Silicone Molds of your choice
  • 1 Cup Citric Acid
  • 1 Cup Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Cup Cornstarch
  • 1/4 Cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil or Sweet Almond Oil
  • 10-15 Drops of your favorite Essential Oil (We recommend Peppermint if you want to wake up, or Lavender if you need to relax!)
  • 2 Mixing bowls (Glass is best)

  • In one bowl, mix your dry ingredients together well.
  • In the second bowl, mix your coconut oil or sweet almond oil with 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil.
  • Put your dry ingredient mixture into your bowl with mixed oils.
  • Using clean hands or gloves, mix together all ingredients well, so that the oil mixture is throughout the dry mixture.
  • Pack your mixture tightly into your silicone molds. This recipe makes just over 3 cups of bath bomb mixture.
  • Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  • Take out of the fridge, and gently pop out your new bath bombs.
