DIY Green Tea Face Wash

There are all kinds of skin-types out there. Dry skin, sensitive skin, oily skin… the list goes on. It’s difficult to buy face wash at the store for your skin type. Most of these products have yucky ingredients in them like chemical preservatives and even petroleum by-products! You don’t want to put ingredients on your skin that are similar to the ingredients used to make motor oil. Instead,  you can make a DIY green tea face wash that is all natural, and great for all skin types!

  1. Mix all ingredients together well using a fork or other small utensil.
  2. Transfer to your bottle.
  3. Shake well before each use.
  4. To use, simply pump 2 pumps onto clean hands. In a circular motion, gently rub on your face. Use warm water to rinse, and moisturize after.

Green tea has many benefits for skin! It is anti-inflammatory, so it helps to clear up redness and irritation. It also firms skin without drying out because of the caffeine content. Honey draws moisture into the skin, and is naturally antibacterial. Avocado oil provides a generous amount of Vitamin E, what your skin craves to maintain health and moisture. Lavender oil is gentle on the skin, but is also antibacterial. It also calms skin and helps with skin conditions like dermatitis, rosacea, and eczema. Not to mention, Lavender oil smells wonderful!
