DIY Peppermint Lip Balm

After your lips are soft from using a lip scrub, you’ll need some fantastic lip balm! This DIY Peppermint Lip Balm will leave your lips feeling moisturized and soft all day long. It makes a fantastic gift or stocking stuffer for the holidays. If you’re a fan of peppermint, you will love the way this lip balm smells. When temperatures are cooling, lips become more dry and need some extra TLC. This balm will moisturize and soften lips, while preventing dryness and cracking.



  1. Melt together your shea butter, almond oil, beeswax, and coconut oil on low heat in a double boiler. Stir occasionally while it melts.
  2. Remove from heat, and add in your Peppermint Essential Oil.
  3. Stir well once again.
  4. Immediately pour your mixture into Lip Balm Tubes.
  5. Carefully put your filled lip balm tubes in the fridge for two hours, or the freezer for one hour.
  6. Remove the tubes, and place the caps on the containers.

Voila! Now you have 10 tubes of some fantastic DIY Peppermint Lip Balm. It smells great, and will make lips healthy and soft. Making 10 tubes at once saves time and money! The cost only comes out to around twenty cents per lip balm. If you want to dress up the container, print out some labels at home. There are free print-outs available online.
